He has everything except a healthy injury free season his (fragile) body can't seem to stay away from the hospital.

One huge caveat to that is...if he didn't play the way he plays, he wouldn't be the player he is. Like I said Bichette Jr. had a great season two seasons ago, an off season, and then last season where he bounced back. That shows me that 2013 was (probably) the exception and not the rule.

Heathcott would have to be injury free for like three consecutive seasons to change my mind on him. If he can show some more consistent pop in his bat he might make it as a 3rd baseman yet...maybe! One-half of a year makes him #19?
A healthy Heathcott is out of sight with talent but...is there anything he hasn't broken or injured?
Or better yet, has he got anything more he can injure? That guy has a very fragile body, to say the least!Ken Reedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07134936968221887101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676591017018865408.post-42656962104537271962015-02-10T13:56:08.176-05:002015-02-10T13:56:08.176-05:00Why not? Both Heathcott and Bichette (along with Hensley) needed to bounce back and show the team they were worth hanging on to. Bichette did that. He bounced back offensively and showed he can play a whole season.

Hensley got hurt again and so did Heathcott. Bichette is also entering his third or fourth professional season while Heathcott is out of time and was DFA'd to get him off the 40 man. I love Heathcott and if he has a healthy season, or has had one in the last four or even five seasons (without looking) I'd have him a lot higher. He hasn't though so I stand by my ranking.

2014 wasn't a one season thing for Heathcott. I'm not saying Bichette isn't a top 20 prospect, but if Heathcott doesn't make the too 20, no way does Bichette.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05687487174545518045noreply@blogger.com
