This hurt his numbers really big time. He had pinpoint control and very seldom pitched tight inside and the batters knew it. Those that did get hit were fooled on the pitch and dove out over the plate and got hit by the pitch.<br />I have seen him pitch many times and have seen the greatness in his arm and head the only thing that was missing...his killer instinct.<br />This is one player that got into the HoF because of his Talents and playing for a second tier team and still winning.
