Breaking news coming out of Yankees spring training camp
that New York has agreed to trade their top infield prospect Robert Refsnyder
to the Washington Nationals. According to my sources* the Nationals are worried
about the knee injury to Anthony Rendon enough to give up Bryce Harper in the
deal before he gets too expensive. More will be added to the deal on the
Yankees side I am hearing but the deal is not going to include Luis Severino or
Aaron Judge. It will likely include Greg Bird. Stay tuned as this develops and
remember where you heard it first.

*** April Fools
That's not nice Daniel.
ReplyDeleteI've never claimed to be a nice guy, lol
DeleteAny other name than Refy, and I may have raised the eyebrows a bit! Good try, I wonder how many took a bite of that old apple?
ReplyDeleteWell the Nationals may need a second baseman if Rendon is out and if they don't believe Zimmerman is healthy then they could want Bird... I tried, sue me.
DeleteBird is now a second baseman? Oh, that will get some fans thinking, won't it? Keep trying Daniel! lol
DeleteI believe I said Refsnyder would replace Rendon at second base and ZIMMERMAN (you know, the Nationals first baseman) would be replaced by Greg Bird.
DeleteWell, no, I didn't know Zim was a 1st baseman. You took too much for granted, Is there another league other than the AL? Pulling your chain a bit!
DeleteHe is a 3B by trade but the shoulder surgery messed his throwing up.
DeleteAnd I have decided Cashman is one of the best GM's in the market. Oh that's right its April 1
ReplyDeleteAnd you sir would be correct.
