Trade from a position of power, not just because.

Hold onto him or get optimal returns. Nothing less. We don't HAVE to trade Gardy. I know he sucked after the all star break this year, but I'm convinced his health was the reason for it.

We've seen him be great in the past and I still feel like he will be after an offseason of rest. Don't trade him for another .250 hitter like Castro.

P.S. Don't trade Miller either. The rotation is a problem, but don't improve it by crippling the bullpen.Jack Niemuthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09282453928984003497noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676591017018865408.post-14712922706487430382015-11-21T13:28:59.011-05:002015-11-21T13:28:59.011-05:00Very well done Bryan, I really think the last line...Very well done Bryan, I really think the last line.......

"Make sure you don't fall into the "any trade would be a good trade" trap".

was the best of the article and made the point without any doubt! Brett has been my favourite player even before he was in the big show. If it helps the team, trade him but, don't give him away.Ken Reedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07134936968221887101noreply@blogger.com
