If we could find some long relief consistency we would be awesome. It's probably not a coincidence that Phelps goes into the rotation and the long relief section of the bullpen goes to hell./ Daniel Burchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04212584396848733519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676591017018865408.post-9131185054629684402014-05-03T23:51:06.667-04:002014-05-03T23:51:06.667-04:00RIP...Chris Leroux.....Really, what did anyone exp...RIP...Chris Leroux.....Really, what did anyone expect ? May need help with this one.
My memory tells me Aceves pitched for the Yankees in 2009, or 2010...and did very well that first year.
The second year...not as good. Was he injured some where in that second season ?
Then, on to Boston. This could be a blessing, if used and not abused the right way.
The big thing is, not to use any of them for more than normal. With the three of them (about) equal, Joe can use the most rested one to close a game giving D-Rob a break he most likely will need this year.Ken Reedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07134936968221887101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676591017018865408.post-43353093284046782772014-05-03T12:29:16.925-04:002014-05-03T12:29:16.925-04:00I like the idea of Ace in the rotation, I think he...I like the idea of Ace in the rotation, I think he can still pitch well enough to give us a chance to win.Ken Reedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07134936968221887101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676591017018865408.post-68265603521532993302014-05-03T10:07:04.706-04:002014-05-03T10:07:04.706-04:00I'm almost willing to put Aceves in the rotati...I'm almost willing to put Aceves in the rotation at this point over Nuno and Chase Whitley in the bullpen over LerouxDaniel Burchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04212584396848733519noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2676591017018865408.post-29190810202328279792014-05-03T10:00:26.616-04:002014-05-03T10:00:26.616-04:00NEXT...out from behind the rotating doors !
