  1. Delia, I never saw the notice of your promotion to managing editor of Yankees Fans Unite! Good for you kid, nice work and very good writing pays-off, keep up the good work!

Anyone know the expected time for Jeters return? It would be noce to have Left, Right and Left to lead off with.

  2. Ken...lets hope Jeter makes it back quick ...to carry the team to another championship!

  3. Thank you so much, Ken and I will keep up the good work! :)

As for Jeter, he's expected to get into a minor league game possibly sometime this week. Cashman wants Jeter to play at least 9 innings of a game before he comes back. He only played I believe five innings during the Spring, so the Yanks have to build him up. If all goes well, we could see Jeter in about two weeks.

  4. No way twasp, hopefully he will help carry the team to the Play-offs. I hope to see him hit enough to help Cano, Tex, Wells, Grandy and A-Rod knock him and the rest of the runners in. To be honest, if you will, the four power guys need to show up more this year than any other year so far.
Let's hope everyone gets and stays healthy this year!

  6. Look for Jeter to get 15-20 home runs as he will be well rested. Combine that with another.310 + BA and your looking at another MVP performance from Derek Sanderson Jeter

  7. What goes around , comes around...... Karma is a bitch! Ask Aroid.

  8. Twasp...
I really am surprised, when did Jeter get an AL MVP? I do know a SS that has 3 AL MVPs.

That would be very helpful, if he can do it this year! That ankle is going to give him trouble all year, his range is going to be cut down a little more and if (hoping not) his hitting is not in the .300s...what then?

If Jeter can hit anything close to what you say and field SS adequately...I would welcome him as much if not more than you will ever know!

  9. Aroids MVPs will be taken back after this latest investigation.....bet on it.

  10. I just reard your blog on your site from August? Last year.

You say in it that Jeter will not bat .310 and not even finish above .300 .

How embarrassing. Jester haters and RedvSox fans are so obvious in their jealousy of the great Derek Sanderson Jeter,

  12. I never bet on stuped things, give me proof or stop saying things that are lies...until proven otherwise!

  13. There is proof, I saw his name in the Drs appointment book. Boil boy!

  14. At 38 Jeter was having a season worthy of 7 place in the MVP race. While aroids body continued to break down from boil shots to the hip.

  15. twasp I said that and I also said I made a mistake. PC people and I don't get along to well, But being jealous of Jeter is very wrong, he nor anyone else has anything I would be jealous of.
Talent is something to be envied and appreciated, I am envious of singers, artists, some ball players and real writers, but never, ever jealous.
Then there is the things I hate the most; people who lie, take any drug and most of all... PC people are the worse. I often wonder how one can go through life having to keep track of all the PC things one must never, ever say

  16. Says who? You don't know that for sure. His mom and dad are Doctors right? What do all the Drugs have in common? Players that have taken them for a long time come down with FOOT problems.

You see how it goes twasp, there could be questions asked about Jeter if one wanted to do so. But I, for one, don't care one way or the other, until someone is proven guilty, they are not! There has never been anything questionable about Jeter, so forget it, just pointing out how easy it is to make a person look guilty.

  17. twasp, just the facts please, don't make-up lies to fit your hate of A-Rod.

You know there are many baseball players that have or had the same hip injury, they get the shot in the midsection, not the hip.
Why do you always make up bad things about A-Rod, you know are untrue? You and I know why, you and some others hate A-Rod because he is the guy everyone loves to hate and is by far the better player.
The big difference between us is, I don't hate Jeter at all...I don't like him, but you and others hate A-Rod. If he helps the Yankees win, that is the bottom line!

  18. Good night Ken, stay heathy , you still da man!

  19. So has everyone else but, it is not his hand writing...heck, my sister has stuff in the journal she has kept for over 60 years, that says I was in one place when I was really out of the country.
Show me the proof that he was there, the dates don't match with where he really was and the date in the book...show me the proof!
It sounds just like the so-called gambling he was doing but, was proved he wasn't even there at all.

I am done with your ridiculous attacks on A-Rod, I don't like the idea of being the lone voice defending a player I don't really like but, he still is a Yankee...I respect his talent as I do Jeters but, I don't care for either one of them.
