David Phelps Has A Bruised Forearm, Won't Miss Start
David Phelps left last nights start with two outs in the 8th inning after taking a line drive off his pitching arm. David was in obvious disgust as he threw his mitt down with his pitching arm showing that the injury was not that bad as originally thought. David has been diagnosed with a bruised right forearm but at this point expects to make his next start against the Mets. Obviously he is going to be reevaluated this morning and in a couple days when he throws his bullpen session and that will be the ultimate test going forward but if he clears all that, and all signs look like he should, then David Phelps really dodged a bullet here tonight.
