There has been an announcement in the clubhouse and press box at Yankees Stadium that Derek Jeter will not be in uniform for the Yankees today and will not re join the club. There is a possibility that Jeter will be back in the Bronx tomorrow for the finale of the series. Instead Jeter will spend his day in a simulated game in an, as of right now, undisclosed location at an undisclosed time.
