Robinson Cano and the Seattle Mariners have agreed to a 10 year, $240 million, contract. The only thing standing in the way is a physical, which shouldn't be a problem.
Robinson cano physical will be a simple run to first base. He will fail

I'm sure to write more about this in the near future, but my initial thought is that while it sucks Cano is no longer a Yankee, I'm glad the Yankees didn't give him a 10 year contract. Money clearly wasn't the issue for the Bombers, as the AAV of their offer around $170 million for 7 years was higher than the AAV of the 10 year/$240 million he agreed to.
Well, hell...it will hurt for a while but, in the long run, it can help the Yankees!
ReplyDeleteBy that I mean, is there anyone on the starting team that will make a pitcher go weak in the knees? No, not right now anyway but, that means this team has to play as a team...moving guys up, getting a bunt down, get that hit with RISP, add a Bomb or two and you got the makings of a winning team IF(I still hate that word), we can get 5 good to great starting pitchers.
Don't forget, there are still a few moves to be made, now that Cano is gone!
People, get your sh-t together, the games have not begun yet, be optimistic!
