Sorry Daniel. Haven't commented here in a few days, so here goes. 1) Ramon Flores, another OF with zero power. Seems to be a theme going. 2) Cito Culver, I have a soft spot here. Mainly because we desperately need a future shortstop. 3) Nik Turkey, you're killing me. Way too solid to be #21. He needs to cut down on the free passes, but I have him a little closer to the top 10. 20 years ago, there was another tall, lanky,
ReplyDeletegoofy looking lefty that turned out okay. 4) Rob Refsnyder, are we talking Rob the OF, or Rob the 2B? OF has me a little intrigued,
the fielding at 2B has me a little worried. And last, 5) Abiatel Avelino, VERY PROMISING! I would like to see a little more pop, but that should come with age.
He's never been above AA and never dominated anywhere (Turley) I am not as high on him as many are.
DeleteHe had a spot start at AAA last year, and pitched pretty well. While he hasn't dominated, he has been pretty solid. Probably more consistent at least than most of our young pitchers.
