On this day four years ago at 1:41 AM my best friend, my first son, and my biggest fan was born at Piedmont Hospital in Jasper, Georgia. He was 8 lbs and 6 oz and 21 inches long, all that and he was three weeks early almost to the day. Evan Daniel Burch was born and the rest is history. This blog or anything I do in my life is for him and now my youngest son Hayden Alexander. I just wanted to take a second to say Happy Birthday to my son and that I love him very much. Enjoy your day little guy (he will, we got him an iPhone, among other things of course, for his birthday and he has a pizza and arcade party tomorrow).
Congratulations to you, and happy birthday to your son. I know how you feel.
ReplyDeleteThank you sir. Are you a father as well?
DeleteYes. I have one son that just turned 18. Graduating high school and getting ready for college. Busy times. He's a huge Yankees fan too.
DeleteEVAN BURCH....we will never meet. But if we had today, the first slurpee would be on me.
ReplyDeleteCola, is my favorite. Happy birthday, young man.
Hey you never know buddy, we have tons of family in New York and Staten Island.
DeleteOh wow that has to be very exciting for you, congratulations you must have done something right in raising him.
ReplyDeleteClarification....a few days ago, 4-5 , I put up a post re: a trade rumor. But, I was vague.
ReplyDeleteHere it is, updated.......... Ichiro Suzuki for Mike Adams, of the Phillies.
Adams was coming off an injury, but is now being called game ready. Rumors have resurfaced.
Adams...RH relief pitcher, very nice ERA.
I don't think Adams would be better than anyone that we currently have in my opinion
