On this day in 1989 the Baltimore Orioles joined teams like the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, Chicago Cubs, and San Francisco (New York) Giants by winning their 3,000th game. The Orioles were also known as the St. Louis Browns before making the move to Baltimore. Awesome news for the city of Baltimore and the Orioles fans.
