More to come when I am not mobile. Why is it that every time I am in the car news breaks?
I wonder if getting rid of Greene could affect the Yankees' interest in Scherzer
ReplyDeleteThe interest, probably not. We're interested no matter what. It may lead to a signing though.
DeleteI like this move!
ReplyDeleteLester has no draft picks tagged to him and Scherzer dose...thus, I picked Lester to be the one to sign, but I have changed my mind!
Through due diligence and hard work I looked up the two and came to the same conclusion as some of you have...we will have another pick in the first round if D-Rob signs elsewhere, Scherzer is the better pitcher but wants more money and longer contract. At 30 years old (april) a 7 year contract would end-up being bad (at the end) but for 5 or 6 years he could help a lot more so than Lester.
Yes Daniel, I did read your post on the two of them, but it was after I did my hard work. For you, maybe not so much! For me, very much! LOL
Scherzer has less mileage on the arm which I like. He has thrown about 6,000 less IP than Lester and about 9,000 IP less than Shields. As much as I hate to give up the pick I would do it for Scherzer.
DeleteAmen to dat dar thig ya done say!
