Good morning Yankees family and welcome back to the blog.
Man, it has been too long. In a word or two, work sucks. Not to get political
here at all but the tariffs on trades that have been handed out to certain
countries, China in particular, by President Donald Trump has really been
hitting our industry hard. Some of our suppliers are adding an extra 20% or
more to the price of material coming out of China which, in my particular
field, has caused me an absolute ton of work. The tariffs are in place now and,
despite what my managers thought, the world has not ended so maybe (hopefully)
things will calm down enough to be able to get back into the swing of things
here on the blog. I’ve missed you guys.
So let’s get caught back up and let’s get ready for the
trade deadline that is looming.
And you… get ready to spend the rest of your life loving me.
I can’t wait for forever with you. I love you.
The crazy trade rumor of acquiring Machado and sending Andujar down is crazy.
ReplyDelete1.Andujar has done the job at 3B with the glove better than anyone could have predicted.
2.He is a extra base hitting machine and leads all rookies in that and as late as last week had 2 less extra base hits than Machado
3.I think trading for Machado and sending Andujar down would cause mental baseball harm
So if we do any trading we better find a LH reliever (Britton) and maybe a starter or see if we can use Gray's Oakland pitching and bullpen coaches to fix him or maybe call Pedro Martinez because Rothschild has no clue.
Find a sucker for Walker and Shreve and clear some space on the roster.
In fact if don't get someone besides Sevy who can pitch were going to have to depend on winning the WC.
The Yankees are not going to acquire Machado. Period. If I am wrong I will quit writing on the blog forever.
