Im abandoning the "Day xx" because it is too hard to keep up with and easier for the fans to open it and see today's date.

The Yankees play a pair of split squad games today. The home line up indicates our game against the Phillies at George Steinbrenner field where the away line up is our game against the Minnesota Twins. Here are the lineups courtesy of Lohud

UPDATE:

The Yankees defeated the Philadelphia Phillies today in a split squad game 3-0. CC Sabathia started and had a nice line of 3 IP , 2 hits, 1 walk and 2 K's. A two rbi game winning hit by Chris Dickerson was the difference in the game. Mariano Rivera made his first spring appearance in the 4th inning pitching a perfect inning.

In the other game Phil Hughes had a bounce back performance against the Mineesota Twins but the Twins won today 5-1. Hughes had 3 IP with 1 hit, 1 walk, and 1 K so not too shabby whatsoever. Graham Stoneburner gave up the game winning home run to Danny Valencia.

Monday Hiroki Kuroda makes his second start at George Steinbrenner field against the Houston Astros at 7:05 ET.
