New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi has basically confirmed that Vidal Nuno's alter ego is TBA as the Yankees have a TBA listed to pitch on Sunday. Due to the rain out with the Cubs the Yankees needed a spot starter and Nuno seems to be the guy to get the job on Sunday assuming Girardi does not need Nuno before then.
This makes sense because the Yankees have a decision looming on who goes down when David Robertson comes off the disabled list on Tuesday, assuming everything goes as planned. Nuno would be unavailable for probably two or three days after a spot start, Girardi said Nuno could go as high as 75 pitches, and could be the odd man out in the Yankees bullpen.
