ESPN has announced their early television schedule for the 2013 Major League Baseball season and the Yankees opener at home against the Boston Red Sox will be televised on ESPN. The game will be played on April 1st at 1:00 pm ET. The MLB season will officially kick off with the Astros and the Rangers playing a game on March 31st which will also be televised on ESPN at 8:00 pm ET as the Astros play their first game in the American League.
