  1. Just a few notes of my own...agree or not!
to-night was a prime example of an older pitcher having to depend on his C&C! When things are right or mostly right, one can pitch very good games, when they aren't...well, you saw it to-night! We have seen the best of pitchers get beat-up, nothing new with that but, a game like to-night takes one heck of a lot out of an older pitcher. Will he be ready for his next start and pitch well or, will this outing carry over to his next start. I see Mo working harder than years gone bye but, he always has a few bad (for him) games in April.
Right now, this team is in bad shape for next year.
A-Rod is a big question mark! Tex must get over these small injuries! Granderson must be replaced by one of the kids, or a star! Jeter will be replaced by Nunez in the field. Cano will be resigned! our starters next year may be CC, Nova, Phelps, Pineda/Cabral, CMW, Nuno and maybe Kuroda. There are one or two others that could break it open next year also...we hope!
I hate to say it but, my first take on Jeters injury was right...been there done that!
The news people must not have wanted it to sound as bad as it was, they said it was a fracture at first, then they said it was only a break. There is one heck of a difference between the two, A break is in place, whereas a fracture is out-of-place and sometimes breaks the skin, nerves etc. Fractures need top-notch surgery to repair it as it was...which very seldom happens!
Granderson broke his arm...fast healing and no surgery.
My fracture was just about like Jeters but, I am a lot older.
