On this day in 1998 Orioles closer Armando Benitez hits Tino Martinez in the back after giving up a three run home run to Bernie Williams and insights a brawl. Graeme Lloyd would punch Benitez in the face and the O's Alan Mills bloodied Darryl Strawberry's nose before the brawl was ended.
