This Day In Yankees History 6/6


On this day in 1934 Myril Hoag became the first player in Yankees history to collect six hits in a single game.  The Yankees routed the Red Sox 15-3 on this day.


On this day in 1999 Derek Jeter's consecutive game streak of reaching base was snapped at 54 games when the Mets kept him off the base paths in a 7-2 loss.
