Anthony Bosch and COO of Major League Baseball Rob Manfred were on 60 Minutes tonight talking about the Alex Rodriguez suspension. In case you missed it watch it here in it's entirety. I won't post my opinion here because I think I have made it well known across Twitter and this blog so now it's your turn to be the judge. Leave a comment in the comment box.

  1. I wish to go on record as thinking this was a concerted effort to get the biggest named player and least liked player in baseball.
They could have just given him a suspension as they did everyone else. Why the big witch hunt?
Does anyone think they would have done this to Big Popi?
How in the hell can someone be taking all those drugs and play as badly in the play-offs or the regular season for that matter?
Thing is, if all this is true, he will never see any votes for the Hall of Shame!

If this guy had records on A-Rod, where are the records on the other players, those not named?
I still smell a rat somewhere!
But, the Yankees must move on, and win without him...so be it!

    1. The things said in that interview showed me that there was a lot more to ARod's suspension than use, such as with Ryan Braun and the others linked to Biogenesis last year. I'm sure Alex's attitude didn't help matters, but that doesn't change the fact that he's guilty and deserving of a larger punishment than somebody that just used.

And remember... taking PEDs is no guarantee of success. So ARod's failure in the playoffs doesn't mean squat.

  2. Very good Bryan but, he never took PEDs as a Yankee, and was not accused of doing so. It was other drugs, but who cares anymore? Drugs are drugs by any name one wishes to use!
It is over with, he should pack his bags and go home, he is toast!
This was the last straw for me, I never forgave him for Texas and now this! I will not mention his name again this year. He could have been on top of the list along with The Babe and the other truly great players of all time...now%$#@&%#.
