  1. DEAN ANNA....congratulations.
Anna, and Brian Roberts were the two best under the radar pick-ups of the off season.

The baseball 'know it alls', still write daily about the Yankee infield issues. Really ! ( not here )
In my heart, come June 1st, this infield will have proved itself, to be a good infield.
    Not, a ten...but an 8, or 9. Why not ? That's what I feel.

  2. NUNEZ, AND SOLARTE....one of these two, still not named to make this squad ? Why ?

I know no more than you. But I think there will be a player movement here.
Someone released tonight, or by 3PM on Saturday....and signed by the Yankees ?
A trade....Nunez, and a catcher ? Or, maybe a pitcher added to the mix?
I think Nunez, is the odd man out.

    1. Nunez has a minor league option he can always go down to aaa

    2. Very true, but correct me if I'm wrong here. Solarte is not on the 40 man roster. To add him, they would have to dfa somebody. Therefore, Nunez makes it and Solarte goes to aaa. I don't see any player clearing waivers.

    3. I think the delay comes in where the Yankees are trying to trade a catcher to clear a spot.

    4. Well here's an off the wall suggestion. I think they should just release Ryan, and here's why. I never agreed or understood the signing. I know it was announced as an insurance for Jeter. But he is a slick fielder with zero offensive potential and no future upside. Are there no young shortstops in our system that are slick fielder's that can't hit? If all they wanted was defense and didn't care about offense, why not call up somebody like Culver at $500k, and might learn to hit instead of somebody at $2m a season who we know won't hit. I'm not bashing anybody, but the Yankees always sign unnecessary depth options that do nothing but create logjams on the 40 man rostet. Release Ryan, add Solarte, send Nunez to aaa, and keep our young talent for a trade in July. We'll have a better idea of what we need by then. Sorry for my rant!

    6. Not bad! Agree or disagree with releasing Ryan? If not, Flores is the only one I see with a chance of clearing waivers. If not, we lost a light hitting outfielder. We've got a few of those to spare!

    7. I have zero issue releasing Ryan. Especially since the Hal Cap is gone.

  3. A DEATH....It's about time !
Now I can move on with my tattered life. Yankee Fans Unite is about to go dark.

I still check in over there, to check for a pulse. Like visiting a rotten relative, and hoping he had crooked.
YFU, was not quite dead...breathing, but wearing diapers.... Until tonight !
I found this posted over there site, in bold letters. Now reduced to fit here.

My first thoughts ?....Drive the dagger into their darkened hearts, and throw them over board.
Let them sink into the cold watery darkness, and never rise again.
    I feel better, already.
