The New York Yankees have signed their third round pick Austin DeCarr. DeCarr is a 19 year old right handed starting pitcher out of High School that signed to a deal worth double his slot recommendation at $585,100. The $1,170,200 slot is a major commitment to a third round pick and the Yankees will have to save that huge chunk of change elsewhere. With the likes of Mark Payton, Connor Spencer, etc. not expected to sign for much it's very doable but I wonder who we won't sign because of it.The Yankees had to basically buy him out of his intent to play for Clemson and they did, good for him and good for the Yankees.
