It is a foregone conclusion that Alex Rodriguez will be in pinstripes for the 2015 season, whether we want him to be or not. In preparation for next season A Rod was seen at the University of Miami and at UCLA taking ground balls, hitting off a tee, and lifting weights according to George A King III. Rodriguez is owed roughly $61 million for the 2015-1017 seasons after being suspended for all of the 2014 season with the whole Biogenesis drug scandal.
Alex is six home runs away from tying Willie Mays and seven home runs away from an extra $6 million in salary. Alex will also receive $6 million for passing Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, and Barry Bonds if he gets that far.
Hal Steinbrenner expects A Rod to be back in 2015, A Rod expects A Rod to be back in 2015, and the rest of the world should be ready because A Rod is come back in 2015.
I'm not sure if he makes it to Ruth. A full season off is a tough thing to come back from at 40. I'm rooting for him though. Not exactly sure what makes him a villain and Ortiz a saint.

DeleteOur 3rd baseman was asked a question by a sports writer and he answered it truthfully. The problem being it was about Jeter...Strike #2! Strike One was when he said what others never say (even though MOST do the same)...he wanted to be the highest paid baseball player ever. Number #3 was when he came to the Yankees, Jeter wouldn't even talk to him and someone on the Yankees, started a lot of untrue stories about him. You know the ones, unnamed person told me that he heard from another unnamed person that he was doing, did or was.........fill in the blanks!
Once everyone around the league saw the way he was treated in NY, being Jealous, as many players are, they started treating him with No Respect at all.
While at the same time Ortiz, because he is a Showboat and a Nice Guy gets No Kick back.
Back in the day, he wouldn't dare showboat after a HR as he does now...he would have the next pitch he sees at his head!
Thus, we have the major Leagues Wipping Boy on our team!
I'd be surprised if he passed Mays to be honest. You have to remember he missed basically all of the 2013 season as well. Two seasons missed entering your age 40 season cannot bode well for anyone.
