The Yankees bats came to life in Target Field last night and will look for more of the same as these same two teams go at it again tonight. There are only 9 games left in the regular season, barring any play in games, and the Yankees have their biggest division lead in almost a month at 1.5 games. The Yankees magic number to clinch a playoff spot in down to 5 with the Angels and Yankees losses compared. The Yankees will send Phil Hughes to the mound tonight to face off with Esmerling Vasquez. The game will be televised at 8:10 pm ET on MLB Network.
