Derek Jeter will miss the remainder of the series this weekend with the San Diego Padres complaining about something in his right calf. Jeter said he woke up Monday after the Los Angeles Dodgers series feeling something in the calf and it feels better today then it did that day but Joe Girardi is taking no chances and will sit him for the weekend. Jeter is said to be available to pinch hit and would probably DH if we were in an American League park but we're not so that is where we are at. Jeter will be evaluated before Mondays game with the Chicago White Sox and judging by the way this season has gone will probably be added to the disabled list.
