Yankees avoid sweep with 4-3 walk off win over Red Sox

Hiroki Kuroda gave up just 2 earned runs over 6 innings of work today as the Yankees beat the Red Sox in walk-off fashion, 4-3, avoiding a sweep in this four-game weekend series. The Bombers led the majority of this one, but thanks to another blown save from Rivera, they had to play the bottom of the ninth inning. In that AB, the Yankees would win the game on a wild pitch, with Ichiro being the runner who scored from third.

The Bombers other three runs in this one came on an RBI Double from Mark Reynolds and a two-run double from Robinson Cano. This win was a little bitter sweet since it was just playing to win 1/4, but I'll take it. A win's a win.
