This Day In New York Yankees History 11/28
On this day in 1974 Yankees owner George Steinbrenner was suspended from Major League Baseball for two years by Commissioner Bowie Kuhn. George was convicted for making illegal contributions to the re-elect Nixon campaign which caused the suspension.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!!
