News & Notes From Spring Training Day Two

Here are a few notable news and notes from the second day of the Spring Training and the first workout for the pitchers and catchers. Nothing big came out of camp today but there were more than a few things worth mentioning. Here goes:

A few positional players have jerseys already hanging in their lockers even though most have not showed up yet for camp. Most notably that have jerseys are Eduardo Nunez, Jacoby Ellsbury, Kelly Johnson, Brendan Ryan, Mark Teixeira, Carlos Beltran, Derek Jeter, Brett Gardner, Alfonso Soriano, and Ichiro Suzuki. No Brian Roberts yet, although he has everything else in his locker, and none of the catchers have jerseys yet but this seems like a given that Nunez would make the roster, no?
