Yankees Leaders Heading Into Baltimore Finale


The Yankees head into Baltimore tonight to finish off now a shortened two game series so let's take a look at the Yankees leaders up to this point this season:

Games Played:

Brett Gardner and Jacoby Ellsbury have each played in 115 games this season, speed kills. Martin Prado has played in 117 games but obviously the vast majority of those came in Arizona. 

At Bats:

442 at bats for Jacoby Ellsbury

Runs Scored:

Brett Gardner has 74 runs scored to lead the team as the table setter. Must be all those home runs. 

Hits:

Jacoby Ellsbury has 123 hits 

Doubles:

Jacoby Ellsbury has 24 doubles

Home Runs:

Mark Teixeira has sent 19 Teix Messages to Yankees fans this season

RBI's:

Mark Teixeira and Jacoby Ellsbury lead the team with 52 RBI's. 

AVG:

Francisco Cervelli leads the team with a .289 batting average, which is encouraging, but the Yankee regular leading the way in average is Jacoby Ellsbury and Brett Gardner who are both hitting .278. 






Wins:

Masahiro Tanaka leads the Yankees pitching staff with 12 wins and has five more then his next closest competition in Hiroki Kuroda. Oh and he has been out a month with an injury.

Losses:

Hiroki Kuroda has eight losses for the Yankees. Brandon McCarthy has 11 but just one in New York. 

ERA:

Dellin Betances has an anemic 1.44 ERA out of the pen and the lowest ERA for a starter is Masahiro Tanaka's 2.51 ERA and Michael Pineda's 1.83 ERA for a months worth of games. 

K's:

Masahrio Tanaka has a staggering 135 K's followed by Brandon McCarthy's 129 and Dellin Betances 102 K's.
