Here me out here. The royals just lost 3/4 to the Red Sox at home last week, while also looking awful this weekend against the Tigers. So, its perfectly reasonable to think them collapsing is possible.
Same thing with Seattle. They just lost 2/3 to Houston.
And the Yankees get to play a starter-resting team in Baltimore before heading up to Fenway to what, face Alex Webster? There's a chance here.
I am putting my one point lead in the Mega Prediction Game on the line with 4 wins against the Balts'! Therefore, I hope they win all 4 of them and I'll worry about the other games when we get there!
I was sure Pineda would have some trouble with the cool temperatures but, I just couldn't make myself give him a loss...he is a damn good pitcher. That's a bit redundant, I should think, but hay, it's my comment or reply! LOL
I didn't want to point that out, but now I am up by two. It looks like it will come down to the last game or two. Being a gentleman, (the Gov., says so) I will wish you good luck!
It's possible:
ReplyDeleteyankees go 6-1
Mariners go 2-5
Royals go 2-6
Indians go 4-3
It could happen
JACK...I'll try walking across the East River this afternoon. That could happen, also.
ReplyDeleteHave the NYPD Harbor Patrol on stand-by.

Every time I get optimistic we lose six in a row.... screw the Yankees lol.
DeleteJack must be the one person in the poll that agreed, lol.

And you're now down one point, three more games to go though.

DeleteActually I can't add. We're tied with six games left. There is still hope yet, and you're leading by a couple if we sweep I think.
