Pedro Feliciano Strong In 2nd Rehab

Pedro Feliciano pitched in his second outing in his rehab assignment and threw a perfect inning. While pitching for the Yankees Gulf Coast League team he got two ground balls and struck out one batter while walking none. No reports on pitch count or velocity but if the velocity were down I am sure we would have heard something by now. All looks good for a September return for Feliciano.

  1. What a bonus it would be to have him up for a September push!

  3. I'd like the Yankees to rush him back. I mean, why not? His option isn't going to get picked up, so if they hurt him... who cares? Might as well see if they can get something out of him. That doesn't mean I want him on the playoff roster, but during the regular season he could eat some innings.

  4. Because it sends a message to any potential free agents that we dont give a damn about them? Especially if they arent producing... If he is healthy, great. I dont wanna bring him back just to bring him back because he has not done anything.

  5. I was really thinking that the team should try and get something out of him. I mean, if he wants to pitch, then let him pitch. Don't be as cautious with him as they normally are.

  8. I'm not saying force the guy to pitch. If he wants to pitch, and the doctors clear him, then let him go. Just don't hold him back like so many others.
