This Day In Yankees History 9/19/12


In 1937 Hank Greenburg becomes the first player to hit one into "the black" seats in center field in the old Yankees Stadium.


In 2001 Yankees hurler Roger Clemens beats the White Sox and improves his record to a staggering 20-1.


In 2011 Mariano Rivera shuts down the Minnesota Twins in the 9th inning for his 602nd career save breaking the all time record previously held by Trevor Hoffman.
