Brett Gardner CF
Robinson Cano 2B
Kevin Youkilis 3B
Travis Hafner DH
Vernon Wells LF
Brennan Boesch RF
Francisco Cervelli C
Lyle Overbay 1B
Jayson Nix SS
RHP Phil Hughes
Notes:
-- Cody Eppley wasn't listed on the lineup card, meaning that he could possibly be the move for Phil Hughes.
-- Today the Yankees get Hughes off the disabled list, which one would take as good news but he was scheduled to start in Scranton today before getting the call. I admit, I'm a bit worried about bringing Hughes in without one final tuneup.
Time to think about bringing up Nuno!
ReplyDeleteI am not so sure about that Doug, a lot of pitchers don't do well in the colder weather. I really think the guys are not pitching as well...right now...as they will in a week or two. Logan is a guy with one sore arm, if they sit anyone, it should be him. :)
ReplyDeleteold yankee, Logan didn't look good in spring training and neither did Eppley. Both seem to be sub par major league pitchers right now. As a whole the pitching has been terrible to this point, with the exception of Pettite. I know it's a small sample, might need to give them a chance.
ReplyDeleteI can't disagree with any of that! I wish I could but, something is wrong, I hope it is the weather ...only!
