Michael Pineda has officially been activated off the 60 day DL and has been optioned to AAA to play for the Scranton Wilkes Barre Railriders. Curtis Granderson has been moved to the 60 day DL to make room on the 40 man roster for Pineda. Pineda will stay down in Scranton and get some work in and build up arm strength before the Yankees make a decision whether to bring him up this season or not.
