A couple of Yankees infielders that are currently rehabbing will find themselves in new places this weekend. Eduardo Nunez has been bumped up from High A Tampa with the Tampa Yankees to the Trenton Thunder in AA. Nunez has a very real shot of being back with the Yankees before the All Star break in 11 days so that is very encouraging news for us and our lack of a bench. Alex Rodriguez will work out with the Charleston Riverdogs today before playing for the Tampa Yankees tomorrow night. Essentially A Rod is taking Nunez's spot in Tampa. A Rod can be back as soon as the first game after the All Star break which even with a diminished A Rod still adds a right handed power threat to the middle of the lineup and that can never hurt.
