David Robertson In Trenton August 29 For Charity

(Trenton, NJ) - A billboard in left field at ARM & HAMMER Park promoting the MVP Foundation's Annual Fundraiser has kept fans in suspense all season long.
On Wednesday, Trenton Thunder official chiropractor, Dr. Thomas "Doc" Haveron, announced that "Special Guest TBD" - as it's stated on the billboard - for the Third Annual MVP Foundation Event on August 29 will be New York Yankees relief pitcher David Robertson.

The MVP Foundation will present a check to David Robertson on behalf of his foundation, High Socks For Hope, in a ceremony on the field before the game.

"This is a great opportunity to publicly thank David for all the work he does for the victims of natural disasters," said Dr. Thomas "Doc" Haveron, founder of the MVP Foundation. "He's a great player, humanitarian and friend of the MVP Foundation and we're happy he'll be returning to Trenton to be a part of our fundraiser."
VIP Ticket Packages that include a ticket in a luxury suite, food and the opportunity to meet Robertson are available. Fans interested in the meet and greet should email, askdochaveron@aol.com, for more information.

In addition, MVP's sponsor, TOPPS, will be providing packs of 2013 baseball cards to fans as they exit the ballpark.

In 2011, Dr. Thomas "Doc" Haveron founded the MVP Foundation (Medicine Via Philanthropy) which raises money for children with serious illnesses, provides scholarships for students to attend medical school and helps other non-profit foundations fulfill their missions.
