Yankees complete sweep of Blue Jays, 5-3

Thanks to 6 innings of one-run ball from Andy Pettitte, a two-run single from Eduardo Nunez, and a solo homer from Curtis Granderson, the Yankees were able to easily comeback to beat the Blue Jays today, 5-3, completing a four game sweep. This win evens up Pettitte's seasonal record at 9-9 while also lowering his ERA to 4.26. It's safe to say that he really needed this one, as he has never had a losing season in his career.

Since Mariano Rivera had to sit this one out, David Robertson went ahead and pitched a scoreless ninth inning, giving him his second save of the season. With this win, the Yankees record on the year is now 68-59, 3.5 games behind the A's for the AL Wild Card.
