Peter Gammons Compares A Rod To Marathon Bomber
Peter Gammons showed his true colors today once again when he pulled up his pant legs and showed his Red Sox when he compared Alex Rodriguez to the marathon bomber, really? Why do people hate A Rod? Why do people hate him enough to compare him to a marathon bomber? My last question is why do the people writing his paychecks allow him to post such absolute trash?
Peter Gammons, Hall of Fame Peter Gammons, MLB Network Peter Gammons, a well known and well respected until today Peter Gammons. When did it become okay to allow people to compare players to terrorists?
So because Alex Rodriguez ALLEGEDLY took steroids from Anthony Bosch and the Biogenesis clinic he is a killer, a terrorist, a murderer, and a scum lower then the lowest of low? The worst part about this is all the national media outlets are going to allow it to happen but if the shoe was on the other foot Bud Selig would be tacking on another 100 games suspension.
This is bull, Peter Gammons can rot in hell, and I am personally boycotting anything that he is associated with and anyone who runs this story and doesn't absolutely trash it. Peter Gammons, this Bud's for you.

For this old bastard, to compare any one to the marathon bomber is outrageous.
ReplyDeleteThose are dangerous words, who could get someone killed.
I would have framed it his way........
"Peter Gammons showed his true colors today once again when he ...pulled down his fly, and showed
his Red Sox marker buoy".
My family knows personally someone who lost his legs that day.
Alex was not there, and Gammons should shut the F... up.
Patrick...
DeleteLet us know how you feel about The small Peter, why don't you? LOL
Hey guys. Just getting caught up, been in the hospital with the wife.
DeleteGammons did apologize almost immediately if that means anything to anyone. It doesn't to me but I am just saying
How is everything with the Boss lady and the baby?
DeleteCONGRATULATIONS are in order, I hope?
Yes sir, thank you. We are finally home with Mr. Hayden.
DeleteOpen letter to the A-Rod Haters...
ReplyDeleteHate or love A-Rod, your choice! Believe him or not your choice!
Try thinking on your own instead of going by what someone like Unger has decided is the truth!
Have you ever seen wolves work for their food? The wolves hunt in packs and pick on the those that can't defend themselves. Well, the so-called reporters, remind me of a bunch of wolves, because no matter what A-Rod were to say in his defense...so what, more for the writers to write about!
Many of the Copiers write things they are told, without checking it out...#1st sin of a reporter! 2nd sin is, writing a report about someone using your preconceived ideas as FACT! That is called an Opinion, Editorial or Comment page...All of which is Journalism 101, you know...the class they missed!
Myself, I will never forgive him for wasting his God-given talent, talent no one in the history of the game has ever matched. All I know for sure is, while he is a Yankee, I will cheer for him.....
A-Rod has never tested positive for any drug since becoming a Yankee...never! He never tested positive before going to Texas, never! He is the best all around player I have ever seen...sorry Mickey...the stats will back that up!
The big question now is.....; Guilty or not?
Think it's so past that now tho. If he is found completely innocent everyone still hates him and thinks he just beat the system because of his money.
DeleteSee Ryan Braun
See oj Simpson
See ray Lewis
There are only a few things that will make me hold my fire. One of them is ...Jesus.
ReplyDeleteSome folks are now invoking Jesus, to get behind A-Rods legal team. To smite his accusers, and spread salt on their fields.
People are dying daily daily from bombs, natural disasters, and guys like Justin Bieber...and yet, groups will
go out in the street, and pray to Jesus....to assist a third baseman. Who has more money than Jesus's Father !
Today...snatched from River Ave Blues :
" Outside MLB’s offices, representatives of the New York Hispanic Clergy Organization, including state Sen. Ruben Diaz, held a prayer vigil to express opposition to Rodriguez’s discipline."
History (my college Minor) teaches us a lot, one is; "All great societies are destroyed from within", does that sound precariously like things to-day.
DeleteTo spend time praying for A-Rod or any other person just to get something, anything, other than LIFE or Health is time better spent helping those that really need the help.
Grady Sizemore ? I enjoyed that dream. Envisioned him roaming the stadium outfield, and doing
ReplyDeleteawful things to the Red Sox, at Fenway Park. The new standard bearer for the Yankees, as we charge
over the hill, into withering cannon fire in 2014.
My dream dashed, when the dagger of reality is driven into my heart. Like a Carfax ...for humans.
His listing of body accidents say....." I don't think you should spend good money on this guy."
Read'em, and weep..............
Grady Sizemore is 31 years old. No longer a strapping buck. Irregardless, on the look on his girl friends face.
He hasn’t played in a game since September 2011.
The injury list, is reason for cause. Left elbow inflammation and debridement (2009), sports hernia (2009), left knee microfracture surgery (2010), another sports hernia (2011), arthroscopic right knee surgery (2011), lower back surgery (2012), right knee microfracture surgery (2012).
If I was conducting a prayer vigil ( with candles )...it would be for Sizemore.
Patrick...
DeleteI will reiterate what I have written many times before. Which is; why not go after some of the very good players that are no longer needed because of a team having a (Not better but as good as) player younger and under more years of control.
Sounds like a good chance for some very good (under 30) talent to be had. Along with the Cuban FA's.
Oldest Ranger.......in the world.
ReplyDeleteI'm venting, so please give me a wide berth.
Ken, Thomas, and patrick. The three of us migrated here. To a good place.
We have been together for years. Once at a great iYankees site, and once at a tomb for idiots.
We fight, we hiss, we laugh, some even pick up marbles.....but we never walk away. Not until now.
Our tent show, can not be found any where. Check any site...the magic is not there.
Thomas, the time is now. We are three, not two.
The Jersey Boy mentality would love for us to implode. And, die...Don't let this happen.
A guy like Rooster, who would hide behind every urinal in New Jersey, and watch from afar...is
probably enjoying this. Screw him.
Thomas....live is too short.
I stand alone, this day, on a dry sandy path. There is silence, where once was laughter.
My sidearm lying at my feet, in the blowing dust...........My hand is outstretched.
Think hard about this.
Please Patrick, have at it!!!!
DeleteI personally asked mr wasp to return for your debut article, did not get a response. Told him it did not feel right doing it without him.
DeleteHe is either very busy or very bitter because I receives no response.
Regarding the MIA...Thomas T.
DeleteThank you, Daniel, for reaching out like that. You need not to. It is what it is.
I never wanted approval, or a reviewing stand. That's not me.
I have dealt my last card..on 11/22 at 11:04 pm....pertaining to this matter.
patrick has pushed his chair away from the table....deal me out.
In my mind none of this is justified.
Bartender....one more cold one, before I turn the page.
It's his loss, not ours.
DeleteCONGRATULATIONS !!! to Mr & Mrs Burch, on the birth of their new baby. The best to the three of
ReplyDeleteyou ....from Old Kenny, and patrick.
Tend to your wife, and new one. No need for you to post. Some of us have done this for a while.
It's in good hands. God Bless.
Thank you sir I really appreciate you and your kind words.
DeleteI am up to speed completely on Brian McCann, and pleased.
ReplyDeleteThe following remarks...I may not be so versed.
a)...Vernon Wells : Nice guy. Can the Yankees release him, and not owe him anything ? Is he owed money
for next season ? Never quite got this one. The contact thing is an enigma to me.
b)...Ichiro Susuki : Nice guy. One year left on his contract. If the Yankees absorb half his contract,
is he trade able ? To a west coast team ? Japan, and all that.
Leaves the Yankees more money to play with. Which leads me to c).
c)...If the above two can be done, then is there a mystery masher outfielder they go after ?
I think yes...Carlos Beltran could thrive here, but there must be a player lying in the weeds?
Someone ...' who will scare an opposing team.' Make their bullpen get up early. That is who I would like.
It may be Beltran, but I do not think so.
Patrick...
ReplyDeleteAs for A and B...dump them, anyway they can. Beltran, I am not sold on him at all, I would go for A younger guy maybe Corey Hart. I think Daniel likes him, and wrote of him.
Vernon Wells is owed money this year but AAV wise he is not owed a dime. We could release him but we would owe him money, just nothing towards the luxury tax.
DeleteThey could probably find a suitor for Ichiro at $3.75 million but they lose the PR war if he doesnt ask for the trade like he did in Seattle.
Corey Hart like Mr. Old Power Ranger said is a perfect fit.
If you guys don't mind, Daniel mentioned Power as part of my tag name(?). I would like to tell a story that really happen, before either of you had your 1st birthday.
ReplyDeleteThere was a Defensive tackle that was the best in college (at that time) Al was his name. Our team had a pre-season game with his school.
Now this guy was one of the fastest, strongest and blind as a bat, linemen around!
Anyhow, The first time I got the ball and started to turn the corner...out of no where comes this guy and sweeps me up with one arm and throws me to the ground, saying something like; "this is a mans game, not for kids" and laughed. Next play was a pitch to me to throw a pass in the flats...complete! But, again he picked me up and threw me to the ground just after I let the ball go.
Now, I was a very violent person when I was upset, I was now, very upset with him! The rest of the game I did every dirty (not cheating) thing I ever knew. I missed part of the 3rd quarter because he hit me so hard I lay there with blood coming out of my Ears, Eyes and mouth. (We didn't have anything but a bar across the helmet in those days). Anyhow I punched him in the nose, bit his nose, etc.
After the game, both teams had dinner in the Great Room. All of a sudden, there was total silence in the room, I turn and see this guy coming down the diner table line looking at me with a big grin on his face. I said to myself; "Self, we better get these feet a'moving yesterday"...too late, he comes up and says..."Hay you, stand up, you bit my nose!" I got up very fast and ready for anything. He laughed and put his hand out and said, "That was one hell of a game, had a lot of fun...right?" After a moment "I said something like, "It depends on which side of the ball you were on but, yup it was great!"
He was right, that was the most fun I ever had playing football, I hurt for a week after that game! We all know where the POWER was that day. LOL
He became an All-American and then, All-Star in the NFL.
See what happens if I have to much time on my hands, boring!
Still a cool story nonetheless. I meant Power Rangers like the kids television show I watched when I was a young kid.
DeleteI understood that, my Grand-kids played with the games...or something like that!
