Michael Pineda has thrown a few bullpen sessions while working on rehabbing his teres major muscle in his back and will take the next step, facing live hitters, this weekend. It was widely believed that the Yankees would let Pineda throw one more bullpen session before facing live hitters but the Yankees may be being aggressive with Pineda at this point with the current state of affairs in the rotation.
