The New York Yankees and the Oakland Athletics will play the second of their three game set this weekend in Oakland County Coliseum. The Yankees will send Hiroki Kuroda to the mound to face off with the A's Scott Kazmir. The game will be played at 10:10 pm ET and can be seen on the YES Network, MLB Network, MLB TV, and can be heard on the radio with John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman on WFAN.
Kuroda had another good start in the month of June last time out while pitching seven runs and only allowing two runs against the Kansas City Royals. The offense did not show up once again and Kuroda took the loss as the offense went 1-17 with RISP.
Kazmir is coming off a start in which he shut out the Baltimore Orioles for seven innings as he got a victory. Two starts ago Kazmir beat the Yankees at Yankee Stadium by striking out 10 batters in 6.1 innings and allowed two earned runs in a no decision. The A's did win the game though by the score of 5-2.
