Taking a Stab at Predicting the Top 40 Free Agent Signings

As many of you know I like to take a stab at predicting free agency signings every single offseason. Usually I do the entire 155 or so player free agent class but it becomes pretty redundant to be honest. There are players on the list very few have even heard of and players that even fewer fans truly even care about. For that reason I think I will stick to the Top 40 free agents this year and predict where I think these free agents will land before Opening Day 2016. If you agree, or disagree for that matter, leave your comments below in the comments section. Thank you!

David Price – Chicago Cubs
Jason Heyward – Detroit Tigers
Zack Greinke – Los Angeles Dodgers

  1. Jeff Samardzija....No, 1 winning season out of 7(?) We have guys that do as wellif not better.
Darren O'Day is nasty but only a maybe with him...he is not a shut down BP guy unless used for the guys his stuff is nasty for.
Steve Pearce for 1/2 a year, not a lot of pop for a righty that we need.

Wei-Yin Chen would fit in I think very well!
Tyler Clippard...that would be nice, and good for the BP. But we have so many guys that are good enough to do the job...most of whom have had a bit of time in the Show last year. They should be better this year.

The other guys we would want are all but signed as of this week, I should think!
