Nathan Eovaldi’s Highlights as a Yankee

Nathan Eovaldi was acquired by the New York Yankees in a five-player deal with the Miami Marlins that saw Eovaldi, Garrett Jones and Domingo German come to the Bronx for right-handed pitcher David Phelps and third baseman Martin Prado. This deal was considered to be one of the few “losses” in a trade in recent years for Brian Cashman as Eovaldi made 48 starts for the Yankees in two seasons. Eovaldi posted a 4.45 ERA in 279 innings of work before having to undergo Tommy John surgery. Eovaldi was subsequently released by the team and snatched up by the Tampa Bay Rays who have rehabbed him back to the Major League level. That return to the MLB level continues tonight in the Bronx as he takes the mound against the Yankees with his new team, let’s take a look at the high spots for Eovaldi inside a Yankees uniform.

2016 Yankees Highlights Featuring Aroldis Chapman

Aroldis Chapman may have only spent about a half of a season with the New York Yankees but he did work while he was here. It would be irresponsible not to acknowledge that so here is his time to shine tonight. Hope to see you again soon this winter.

2016 Yankees Highlights: Carlos Beltran

Carlos Beltran was traded away from the New York Yankees to the Texas Rangers this season for Dillon Tate but I feel like it would be wrong of me to not include him in our series of 2016 highlights. At the time Beltran was the Yankees best and most consistent hitter and while that did not continue while with the Texas Rangers he still gave everything he had as a Yankee. How could we not respect that?

Didi Gregorius 2016 Highlights

The Yankees shortstop. The man that replaced Derek Jeter. The man, the myth and in my very humble and bias opinion the soon-to-be legend when it's all said and done... Didi Gregorius ladies and gentleman.

Gary Sanchez 2016 Yankees Highlights

Gary Sanchez had a hell of a season in 2016. Not only did he do well in Triple-A  this season but he also came up to the Major Leagues and took the league by storm hitting home run after home run after home run. Sanchez became the quickest player in MLB history to hit 19 home runs and had 20 home runs in just about a third of the MLB season. It was simply amazing so let's relive that all over again... shall we?
