TGP Daily Poll: Hanley Ramirez Returns to Los Angeles

I have a feeling that Hanley Ramirez’s contract demands, injury history, and bag of question marks will leave him back in Los Angeles with the Dodgers.

Everyone around the league, the fans especially, want Alex Rodriguez off the Yankees either by suspension, retirement, or a buy out of his contract. A Rod will be a Yankee on Opening Day.

TGP Daily Poll: Ervin Santana Will Accept Qualifying Offer

Just a quick poll to get your Wednesday started. Last season Ervin Santana declined his qualifying offer from the Kansas City Royals and if it weren't for a rash of Tommy John surgeries in the Atlanta Braves rotation he would have likely faced the same fate as Stephen Drew and Kendrys Morales. Santana will accept the qualifying offer from Atlanta.

I think the Hiroki Kuroda era has come to an end in the Bronx. New York will not offer the 40 year old right hander a contract.

TGP Daily Poll: Yankees Will Move Rob Thomson to First Base

Rob Thomson has got to be the worst, or one of the worst, third base coaches in the league and in the history of third base coaches. He sends runners that have no shot at making it and players that have no conceivable chance at making it. Thomson will be better suited shaking player’s hands at first base and the Yankees will move him there next season.

Alex Rodriguez and First Base In 2015

I have seen this thrown around a ton this week in the Yankees blogosphere so what better place to ask this then in the TGP Daily Poll right? Should the Yankees let A Rod learn first base in 2015 so he can rotate in at DH, first, and third base next season? Honestly, it can't hurt and it really helps a guy with his range and two bad hips. I like the idea, what say you?
