Brett Gardner has been on call for a week or so now waiting to be called up to be a pinch runner and defensive replacement in late game situations but wait is all he has done. I wonder if that has anything to do with his batting program he is has been on, which includes him taking live batting practice today before the game with the Twins. Could Gardner actually be back to 100% like he claims that he feels? We will see but today is that first big step.
