Travis Hafner is at Yankees Stadium tonight but only for team photo day and not because he is anywhere close to returning to the field. Hafner has been doing shoulder strengthening exercises but has not yet been cleared to start swinging a bat or resume baseball activities yet. Hafner is scheduled to be reevaluated after the weekend series with the Boston Red Sox before any further decisions are made. Hafner seems hopeful to be back some time in September but it is looking more and more unlikely that we will see the man they call Pronk this season in the Yankees pinstripes.
