Yankees WAR & Value Numbers Tell The Story


Looking at the Yankees team WAR numbers and comparing them to the actual salaries of players tells part of the story on why the Yankees have struggled this season. If you take it one step further and go to Fangraphs.com and show what each player has been valued at this season in a dollar amount you can really tell just who is contributing and who is weighing the team down. It's downright depressing, let's take a look.

  1. The only good players we have are, Brett, D-Rob, Dellin, Pineda, WarrMcCarthy, Tanaka, Cisco, Headley, and that is a start! Add by bringing up kids and adding Rusney and Tulo. that's all it wrote!
