Greg Bird was placed on the disabled list this week with a
shoulder issue that will keep him out of the lineup for at least two weeks if
all goes according to plan. The good news for the Yankees was the problem was
not in his back that has bothered him for much of his career but the bad news
is the development for Bird seemed to be getting back on track recently before
the injury. We may have to replace Bird in this post temporarily next week but
this week we’ll go ahead and take a look at what Bird has accomplished this
season before the injury:
Year | Lev | G | PA | R | H | 2B | 3B | HR | RBI | BB | SO | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
2015 | AA | 25 | 111 | 14 | 21 | 9 | 0 | 3 | 12 | 14 | 16 | .226 | .351 | .419 | .771 |
Get well soon Greg!
