Erik Boland has provided us with even more Yankee news, this time regarding Michael Pineda.
We reported not long ago that Pineda was throwing from a half-mound, but that he still had a ways to go before he'd return. It turns out that pitching coach Larry Rothchild believes Michael will start throwing from a full mound in a week or so.
Although he still has a ways to go before he's game ready, this is a big step in Pineda's rehab.
