This Day In New York Yankees History 8/9

On this day in 1999 the Yankees were part of Major League history when they were one of five different teams to hit a grand slam in a single day. The other four teams were the Cardinals with Fernando Tatis, the Expos with Jose Vidro, the Marlins with Mike Lowell, and the Mariners with Jay Buhner. None other than Bernie Williams hit the grand slam for the Yankees to send us into the history books.
